Grindstone Quarry is owned and operated by Kiewit Infrastructure South Co., a transportation construction contractor with decades of experience in Texas. It was established to meet the growing demand for limestone aggregate materials needed to build roads, bridges, buildings, houses and for other construction projects in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.

Through its affiliation with Kiewit — one of North America’s largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations — the Grindstone Quarry is backed by leading-edge expertise in construction, mining, engineering and manufacturing. It is managed by local and regional experts to best meet customer needs and product specifications.

Our mission is to provide customers with quality limestone aggregate, while maintaining the highest levels of safety and environmental stewardship in our operations. We’re diligent in our efforts to understand, monitor and mitigate the impacts of our work. We strive to be a good neighbor and a responsible operator in all that we do.
